Honoring Our New Home: The Historic Pollock House in Greece, NY

We’re excited to share some big news! We’ve officially moved into our new home—an iconic historical building in Greece, NY, known as the Pollock House. This cobblestone beauty has been a staple in the area, and we’re thrilled to honor its rich history while making it our own.

When our Upstate Roots journey began in 2018, we initially ran our business from home, but we always dreamed of having a space that truly felt like our own. After a few years of searching, we finally found the perfect place: the Pollock House.

Growing up, we drove by this historic building countless times. When we found out it was available, we knew it was meant to be. The house is one of the few remaining cobblestone structures in Greece, and we’re committed to preserving its charm and integrity while creating a space that reflects our mission.

At Upstate Roots Design, our goal has always been to help people make their houses feel like homes by blending their past with their present. Now, we get to do that for ourselves—transforming the Pollock House into a hub where we can serve our clients and connect with the community.

We’re committed to maintaining the authenticity of the home while upgrading its interiors to suit our business needs. The cobblestone front will remain untouched because we want to respect the history of the place—it’s part of what makes it so special.

We can’t wait to welcome the Rochester community to our new space by this summer. Until then, we’ll be working hard to create a place that truly feels like it’s always been here, combining the past with the present to create something unique and inviting.
